In 2022, we moved to the Columbia River Gorge part of Southern Washington where we have a 2.5 acre homestead. While new to homesteading, we are passionate about growing our own food, being stewards of the land, creating space for all kinds of beings and assisting small business owners in sharing their passions with the world.
We have loads of projects we are working on and this little barn yard is home to it all!

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and over 14 years in the field of graphic design, Maddie has focused on creating brands, helping small businesses find their story and bringing to life the vision folks want to provide the world.
As an artist, designer and brand creator Maddie brings style to the Back Lot Barn dream. We never stop learning and are always trying new things, so Maddie is constantly designing, making and creating. From logos to jewelry to fun merch designs, Maddie brings her unique style, organization and professionalism to the table.
